Fagins, Margaret

Little is known of the life or parentage of Margaret Fagins.  She appeared briefly in the records of the state appointed overseer of the Eastern Pequot Tribe. On March 26, 1833 the tribal funds were debited for a calico frock for Margaret.  Several months later, on June 5, a doctor was called to provide care for an ailing Margaret Fagins. It seems she regained her health as in the spring of the following year she purchased 7 yards of cotton plaid cloth.  NLCC:PbS, Indians, Eastern Pequot; Eastern Pequot Overseer Records from March 18, 1834 to June 11, 1835
