Johnson, Mary

Mary Johnson was enumerated by the Eastern Pequot Tribe in November 1774 as needy and deserving of charity.  In her will, made out on December 4, 1808, she left to her son Jeremiah Shantup and his heirs a sum of five shillings,  To her daughter Mary Shelly, Mary left all the land under her improvement "within the fence," all of its appurtances and her moveable estate not given to her husband.  1775.03.27.01,  Fish, First  Book.   Connecticut, Wills and Probate Records, 1609-1999, Ancestry.
